Memorion is a QR-first memorial platform that helps families and memorial owners create and manage memorial pages connected to a physical plaque or a digital memorial QR.

When this page refers to Memorion, we mean the operators of memorion.eu and the services connected to the Memorion platform.

Data we collect

We may collect email or contact details, memorial owner account details, QR activation details, memorial page information, order details, and support communication when you use the Memorion website or services.

We may also collect memorial content data such as biography details, uploaded photos, uploaded videos, memories, condolences, and other visitor submissions sent through the memorial experience.

We may collect basic technical and security information such as browser type, device information, IP-related security logs, and website usage data needed for performance, fraud prevention, and platform protection.

How we use data

We use data to create and maintain memorial pages, activate QR-connected memorials, manage memorial owner accounts, process orders, respond to support requests, and keep the service functioning reliably.

We only use information where it supports the operation of the service, memorial ownership and moderation tools, customer support, legal compliance, or the memorial experience requested by the account owner.

Hosting and storage model

Each memorial includes 10 years of hosting and 2 GB Memorial Storage beginning from the activation date.

Storage may be used for photos, videos, and memorial media.

Memories and condolences or messages are not limited by count under the current Memorion service model.

Additional storage options may be offered in the future.

If the included storage allocation is reached, additional uploads may be restricted until storage is upgraded while existing published content should remain accessible during the active hosting period.

Visitor submissions and moderation

Visitors may submit memories, photos, and videos where those features are available on a memorial page.

The memorial owner reviews and approves submitted content before publication and is responsible for managing memorial content, privacy settings, and visitor submissions.

Renewal and expiry

Renewal options may be offered before the included 10-year hosting period expires.

If the hosting period is not renewed, the memorial may be archived, public access may be suspended, and QR functionality may be suspended.

Where reasonably possible, notice may be provided before an active memorial reaches the end of its included hosting period.

Cookies and technical data

Memorion may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the website functioning properly, remember session preferences, and understand general website usage.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, although some site features may work less smoothly if cookies are disabled.

Data deletion request

You may request deletion of account information or memorial-related personal data where appropriate, including requests related to memorial owner accounts and associated contact information.

Some records may be retained if required for order history, legal compliance, fraud prevention, platform security, or other legitimate operational reasons.
