Everything you need to know before creating a memorial
Memorion follows a QR-first flow. You choose a QR option, receive either a physical plaque or a digital QR, and then use the QR, activation link, or activation code to connect that option to one memorial page managed through My Memorial.

What QR options are available?
Memorion currently offers three QR options: Matelux White QR plaque, Matelux Dark Grey QR plaque, and Digital Memorial QR.
What is included with each QR option?
Each QR option includes one unique QR connection for one memorial page. The two Matelux options include a physical plaque, while Digital Memorial QR is a digital-only option delivered by email.
What is the difference between Matelux White and Matelux Dark Grey?
The main difference is the plaque finish and visual style. Both are physical QR plaques with one unique QR connection for one memorial page.
Is this a one-time purchase?
Yes. Memorion is offered as a one-time purchase with no subscription.
Can I request a custom plaque or digital printing solution?
Yes. If you need a custom plaque, special printing, or a custom digital use case, contact Memorion through the Contact page.
Digital Memorial QR
Questions about the digital-only option
What is Digital Memorial QR?
Digital Memorial QR is a digital-only QR option. It includes one unique QR code connected to one memorial page, but it does not include a physical plaque.
How is Digital Memorial QR delivered?
Digital Memorial QR is delivered by email, together with the information needed to activate the memorial connection.
Can I print the Digital Memorial QR myself?
Yes. Customers can print the Digital Memorial QR themselves if they want to place it on printed materials or use it in a custom physical format.
Can I share the Digital Memorial QR without printing it?
Yes. It can be shared digitally by the customer, for example through email, messaging, or other digital channels.
Does Digital Memorial QR work like the plaque options?
Yes. It still connects one unique QR to one memorial page. The main difference is that there is no physical plaque included.
Activation and setup
Questions about getting started
How does the activation flow work?
First, the customer chooses a QR option. Then the QR, activation link, or activation code is used to connect that option to one memorial page. After activation, the memorial owner manages the page through My Memorial.
Can I activate by scanning a physical plaque QR?
Yes. If you purchased Matelux White or Matelux Dark Grey, you can scan the physical plaque QR to begin or access the memorial flow.
Can I activate from a digital activation link?
Yes. Digital Memorial QR can be activated from the activation link delivered by email.
Can I enter the activation code manually?
Yes. If needed, you can manually enter the activation code through the activation page.
Who becomes the memorial owner?
The person who completes the first activation becomes the memorial owner and receives control through My Memorial.
Can one QR option connect to more than one memorial page?
No. One QR option connects to one memorial page.

What can a memorial page include?
A memorial page can include biography, dates, photos, videos, candles, messages, and tribute content as part of the remembrance experience.
Can the memorial owner edit the memorial later?
Yes. The memorial owner can return later and edit the memorial through My Memorial.
Where is the memorial managed?
The memorial is managed through My Memorial, where the owner can review the page, update details, manage content, and handle tributes.
Who can manage photos and videos?
The memorial owner manages photos, videos, and the rest of the available memorial content.
Privacy and owner control
Questions about visibility and moderation
Can a memorial be public or private?
Yes. Memorials can be set as public or private by the memorial owner.
What does public mean?
A public memorial can be opened by visitors and shared by link.
What does private mean?
A private memorial is restricted according to the privacy setting chosen by the owner.
Can the owner change privacy later?
Yes. The memorial owner can update visibility settings later through My Memorial.
Who manages the memorial page?
The memorial owner manages page details, visibility, content, and tribute review through My Memorial.
Tributes and visitors
Questions about public interaction
Do visitors need an account?
Visitors do not need an account to view a public memorial or submit a tribute where that interaction is available.
Are tributes shown immediately?
No. Tributes require owner approval before they become visible on the memorial page.
Can visitors light a candle?
Yes. Candles are part of the memorial experience and can be available to visitors depending on the memorial setup.
Can visitors view photos, videos, biography, and dates?
Yes. Visitors can view the content that the memorial owner has published, depending on whether the memorial is public or shared with them.
What happens if a tribute is not approved?
If the memorial owner does not approve a tribute, it does not appear publicly on the memorial page.
