Memorion basics
Questions about the memorial experience
What is Memorion?
Memorion is a digital memorial platform for preserving a person’s story, photographs, life chapters, and memories shared by family and friends.
It is designed to feel gentle and lasting: a public memorial for visitors, and a private Workspace for the people caring for it.
What can a memorial contain?
A memorial can include a personal Story, Life Journey chapters, a curated Gallery, Shared Memories, Shared Photos, resonance, and conversations around meaningful memories.
The owner manages these areas from the private Workspace.
Can a memorial be used without a physical QR plaque?
Yes. Memorion Digital can be used with a public link and its included personal QR code. You do not need a physical plaque.
Physical plaques are not part of the current digital launch and are planned as a future extension.
Workspace and ownership
Questions about managing a memorial
Who owns and controls a memorial?
The person who creates or activates the memorial becomes the memorial owner.
The owner controls owner-level settings, Family invitations, plan and storage options, public access choices, and the main management actions available in the Workspace.
What is the private Workspace?
The Workspace is the private management area for the memorial.
It is where the owner and permitted Family members can care for Life Journey, Memories, Shared Photos, review new contributions, and see Memorial Care updates.
What is visible to memorial visitors?
Visitors see the public memorial experience: the Story, Life Journey, Gallery, Shared Memories, Shared Photos, and approved conversations or contributions.
Private Workspace controls, pending review items, settings, billing, and owner-only tools are not shown publicly.
Can storage or access be extended later?
Where available for the memorial plan, the owner can manage storage and access options from Workspace Settings.
Available options depend on the current memorial plan and the products offered at that time.
Life Journey and memories
Questions about the memorial content
What is Life Journey?
Life Journey is a chronological timeline of meaningful chapters in a person’s life.
Each chapter can include a year, title, place, story, photograph, and its own chapter conversation.
What are Shared Memories?
Shared Memories are general memories about the person, written by people who knew them.
They are not tied to one specific Life Journey chapter or one specific Shared Photo.
What are Shared Photos?
Shared Photos are photographs contributed by family, friends, or visitors, together with the personal memory connected to that moment.
They are different from the curated Gallery because they carry the contributor’s own remembrance.
What is the difference between Gallery and Shared Photos?
Gallery is the memorial’s curated photograph collection, usually managed by the owner.
Shared Photos are contributed memories: the photo, the contributor credit, and the story that person shares about the moment.
Can memorial photographs be viewed larger?
Yes. Public memorial photos can open in a larger viewing experience so the photograph remains the focus.
Gallery photos and Shared Photos have their own viewing experiences, depending on the type of photo and whether memory information is attached.
The main memorial photo can also open into the memorial photo viewing sequence, making it easy to continue browsing photographs.
Can visitors contribute?
Yes. Visitors can share memories, contribute Shared Photos, and write thoughts where those features are available on the memorial.
New public contributions can be reviewed before they appear on the memorial.
Do visitors need an account?
No. Visitors can view a public memorial without an account. Where contributions are open, they can submit memories, thoughts, or Shared Photos through the public memorial flow.
Can I edit the memorial later?
Yes. The memorial owner can return to the private Workspace to edit details, manage Life Journey, review contributions, adjust visibility, and care for the memorial over time.
Review and conversations
Questions about publication and discussion
Who reviews memories and photos submitted by visitors?
The memorial owner can review new contributions in the Workspace.
Trusted Family members may also help review contributions when they have been invited to the memorial Workspace.
Are submitted memories and photos immediately public?
No. Visitor submissions are reviewed before publication, so the memorial can remain thoughtful, safe, and respectful.
Approved items become visible in the appropriate public area, such as Shared Memories, a Life Journey chapter conversation, or Shared Photos.
Can people respond to memories and shared photos?
Yes. Memories, Life Journey chapters, and Shared Photos can support thoughts and replies.
Conversations are organized around the specific memory, chapter, or photo they belong to.
Family collaboration
Questions about helping care for a memorial
What is Family access?
Family access lets the memorial owner invite trusted people to help preserve the memorial.
Family members receive their own Workspace access, so they can contribute care without becoming the memorial owner.
What can Family members do?
Family members can help review contributions and care for active memorial content such as Life Journey, Memories, and Shared Photos.
The exact actions shown in the Workspace depend on their role and the permissions already built into the memorial.
What happens when someone accepts a Family invitation?
After accepting the invitation with the invited email address, the Family member receives access to that memorial’s private Workspace.
A short welcome experience introduces the Workspace and explains how they can help care for the memorial.
The invitation does not transfer memorial ownership, billing control or commercial settings.
Can I invite more than one Family member?
Yes.
A memorial can be cared for by multiple trusted Family members. Each person accepts their own invitation and receives access to that specific memorial.
Can Family members delete memorial content?
Family members can help manage conversations and review contributions, but they are not given owner-level destructive control.
Owner-only actions remain managed by the memorial owner or an administrator.
Can Family members change billing, storage or the memorial plan?
No.
Plan, storage, access extensions, billing and Family access management remain under the memorial owner’s control.
Family members can help care for memorial content without receiving commercial or ownership control.
What happens if I remove a Family member?
Their private Workspace access is removed.
Content they previously contributed remains part of the memorial unless it is later managed through the appropriate owner or review tools.
The former Family member is informed that their private Workspace access has ended.
If the memorial is public, they may still view the public memorial like any other visitor.
Memorial Care
Questions about the care history
What is Memorial Care?
Memorial Care is a quiet history of meaningful care activity inside the Workspace.
It helps the owner and Family members see how the memorial is being preserved over time.
Who can see Memorial Care?
Memorial Care is part of the private Workspace experience.
It is not shown as a public memorial section for visitors.
Does Memorial Care show every action forever?
No. Memorial Care is designed as a calm summary of meaningful care, not a technical audit log.
It focuses on important updates that help show how the memorial is being looked after, with visibility depending on the person’s Workspace role.
Can I see what my Family members have done?
Yes.
Memorial Care can show meaningful care actions together with the person who performed them, helping the owner and Family understand how the memorial has been maintained over time.
QR, privacy and support
Questions about access, orders and help
How does QR activation work?
A Memorion QR code opens the memorial directly. It can be shared online or printed for use wherever it feels appropriate.
The QR code is included with Memorion Digital; the memorial is the product, and QR access is one way to share it.
Do I need a physical plaque?
No. Memorion Digital works without a physical plaque.
Can I add a physical plaque later?
Physical Memorion plaques are planned as a future extension to an existing Memorion Digital memorial.
Are physical plaques available now?
No. The current soft launch is focused on Memorion Digital. Physical plaques are coming later.
How is memorial privacy handled?
Public memorial content is separate from private Workspace management.
Account details, pending review items, Family management, settings, billing, and owner-only controls are kept inside the private Workspace and handled according to Memorion’s Privacy Policy.
Where can I get help?
You can contact Memorion if you need help with creating a memorial, Family access, QR activation, public contributions, privacy, account questions, orders, payments, or support.
